Equipment Used

There was a time when I used Nikon Film Camera but with the advent of digital technology that is now a thing of the past.  I use a Fugi S3 camera with 8 gigs of hard disk space.  Why so much hard disk space?  I shot only in “Raw” format which decompressed it can be as large as 40 megabits.  On the camera it takes up about 12 megabits, which is a lot.  With 8 gigs I can take about 300 shots before the hard disk is full and when you are no where near a computer this highly recommended.

I carry with me three different kinds of lens with each having special characteristics.  The first is 14-34 mm lens which I use for wide angle shots and then a quick close up.  The second lens is a 28-70 mm which is on the camera at all times.  This lens has a good wide angle and a nice close up.  The last is 70-200 mm lens with an f-stop of 2.8.  This lens is great for tight close in shots, then pulling away to a decent angle.

Lastly I also carry an SB28 Nikon flash which comes in handy for night shots. I also use a Bogen Tripod for night shots or dark shots.

Those are the basics equipment for great photography then it takes time, persistence and chasing the Sun to capture great moments.
